Landlord & Tenant

The law relating to landlords and tenants is constantly evolving.

At Taylor Walton, we ensure that all of our solicitors in our commercial real estate team are proficient in handling leases relating to commercial property, whether acting for landlord or tenant.

All team members regularly attend lectures and seminars in relation to this fast-moving area of law, to ensure that we are always abreast of the latest developments, ready to advise our clients on the potential impact on their position and utilise the very latest precedent documents to inform our drafting.

This depth of resource allows us to handle a significant number of landlord and tenant related matters each year. We also manage renewal procedures under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 and are able to refer contentious renewals to a specialist solicitor within our commercial litigation and dispute resolution team.

We regularly share the depth of knowledge from our highly experienced team with clients, surveyors and others within the property industry through hosting events and speaking at third party conferences and events where required.
