Our recent work
- Our team of commercial property solicitors provided vital legal services for Stapleton's Tyre Services acquisition of Pirelli Retail Central Tyre and Exhaust Distribution. This deal involved acquiring 56 sites nationally and resolving the organisational, legal and environmental issues that came along with the business acquisition.
- £15 million sale of agricultural land to a national housebuilder for 100 new homes, acting on behalf of a family trust.
- Sale of development site in Luton comprising a 9-storey building for £4.5m (having previously acted on the purchase and finance of the same).
- Representing a purchaser to acquire a site for residential development which involved contract conditional on planning, satisfactory site investigation and the acquisition of necessary easements to gain access into the site.
- Acting for promoter in relation to securing outline planning permission for a site and subsequent sale to a national house builder. Work involved negotiating sale agreement, transfer and overage deed.
- Our commercial property solicitors acted for a major retailer in relation to the surrender of one unit in a shopping centre and taking a lease of a different unit. The new lease had to allow the landlord flexibility to re-develop the centre and we ensured that the re-development provisions were acceptable to the retailer and protected their position.
