Leading regional firm Taylor Walton has handed over the latest in a series of giant cheques to support Rennie Grove Hospice Care, a charity providing care and support for patients diagnosed with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.
The firm has been a longstanding supporter of the excellent work undertaken at Rennie Grove and Grove House for over 15 years. The family law team at Taylor Walton, led by Partner Aileen Hartnett offers a free first half hour appointment to new clients at their Harpenden and St Albans office. The half hour appointment is free but the client is invited to make a charitable donation of £20 to one of two charities. Any client wishing to make a donation may choose which charity their donation is applied to. The latest cheque was handed over on 22nd September 2016 at the Ladies Charity Luncheon at St Michael’s Manor, to the value of £3,414.
Kate Grigg, Head of Fundraising at the hospice said “Giving families the confidence to support a loved one’s wish to remain in their own home is not something you can put a price tag on, but we know just how much our service is valued by the families of our patients through the hundreds of thank you cards and letters we receive. On behalf of these patients and their families, I extend our thanks for supporting our services”.
“We consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have the support of organisations such as yourselves – both in the number of ways that you support us, and over the many years you have been involved with Rennie Grove and Grove House”.
