When a relationship breaks down, there are often complex financial matters to be resolved.
At Taylor Walton, we have a wealth of experience in taking our clients through the different financial aspects of divorce to help them achieve a fair and reasonable settlement for approval by a court. Our focus is on achieving this through a negotiated agreement rather than disputed court proceedings wherever possible.
We know that it is not in the interests of our clients to go through lengthily and expensive legal proceedings and we therefore do what we can to explain the process and resolve issues at the earliest opportunity. Where this is not possible, our team will be on hand to explain your options and help you to understand the complexities around formal court proceedings.
For a more detailed overview of the types of financial court orders available, the factors a court will take into consideration when reviewing a claim (Section 25 factors) and alternative methods of financial agreement, please see our factsheet on ‘Financial issues surrounding separation’ which is available to download below.
For more information about separation or divorce, please see our dedicated page on ‘Relationship Breakdown’.
Thank you very much for all your professional help and advice at a very difficult time. I have recommended your services to friends & will continue to do so.
