Following nominations in two award categories, leading regional law firm Taylor Walton was awarded the 2016 Best (Trainee) Recruiter – medium law firm in the prestigious LawCareers.net Training and Recruitment Awards.
The Award ceremony took place at the Merchant Taylor’s Hall in central London and was attended by representatives from the best legal practices in the country.
The firm was nominated for not one, but two awards; for “Best Recruiter – medium regional firm” and “Best Training Principal, small intake”.
Stephanie Simon (People & Talent Partner) and the Firm’s three second year Trainees, attended and were thrilled to hear Taylor Walton announced as the winner of Best Recruiter.
Managing Partner Dermot Carey commented “I am delighted that the firm has been recognised for its commitment to excellence in recruitment and training. It is particularly pleasing to see recognition by an industry leading body of the quality of work undertaken by regional law firms, rather than just those in the City.”
“We feel that the quality of support we provide to our recruits and trainees is exceptional, and that this investment in our people is the key to further promoting the region as a viable alternative to the City for those seeking first class legal support.”
People & Talent Partner for the Firm, Stephanie Simon, added “We pride ourselves on the investment we make in our people, and this is reflected in our ability to attract and retain the very best talent in the region. It is great to see wider industry recognition of our work in this area. We recruit talented Trainees and provide an environment where they are given early responsibility in a supportive environment.”
