Hannah regularly assists both Landlords and Leaseholders to extend their leases pursuant to the Leasehold Reform Housing and Urban Development Act 1993, and also those agreed outside of the statutory framework, on each occasion paying proper consideration to any intermediate leases, any lenders and also where provisions need to be made in respect of management companies. Hannah also has experience of acting on behalf of leaseholders obtaining a lease extension from The Crown.
Hannah also regularly assists with the application of the Leaseholder’s right of first refusal upon a disposal of the freehold pursuant to the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987, and has also assisted upon transactions where the Leaseholders have exercised their right to collectively purchase the freehold of their building by way of Collective Enfranchisement pursuant to the Leasehold Reform Housing and Urban Development Act 1993.
In addition, Hannah also acts for clients upon a range of Commercial Property Transactions; to include acting for Landlord or Tenant upon the grant of new commercial leases, renewal leases, and acquisitions and disposals, to include assisting Developers with land acquired for development and subsequent plot sales, the acquisition of new build residential properties and also option agreements for land.
Hannah enjoys working closely with her clients to achieve the best possible outcome, taking full consideration of the commercial influences upon each transaction.
Hannah qualified as a Solicitor in April 2016 and joined Taylor Walton’s Commercial Real Estate Department in May 2017.
