Hilary Holmes is a Paralegal in the Private Client team. She advises clients on Wills, probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection and tax saving strategies.
Hilary grew up and was educated in Luton. She has been with Taylor Walton for 20 years, originally with the Corporate and Commercial team in Luton, but in the last fourteen years has been with the Private Client team in the Harpenden office. She specialises in looking after the financial affairs of elderly clients especially people with no immediate family.
Hilary’s role includes dealing with the preparation of Wills, codicils and Lasting Powers of Attorney. She administers affairs of clients who appoint a partner of Taylor Walton as their attorney, working closely with the appointed partner to achieve the best results for the client. She regularly visits clients in residential and nursing care.
Hilary also specialises in probates, sensitively dealing with all matters during the administration of a loved one’s estate. This includes advising on inheritance tax and family issues.
Hilary has a patient and caring attitude towards clients and endeavours to ensure that the personal requirements of each individual client is met and that tailored advice is given. Her approach is careful and considered with a keen eye for the best interest of the client.
