Laura undertakes a broad spectrum of private family law work, handling cases surrounding divorce, cohabitation, children issues, domestic abuse as well as pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements. Her particular expertise lies in disputes concerning financial matters upon divorce within Court proceedings, which include dealing with complex business structures and trusts. Laura is able to represent clients at Court and regularly undertakes her own advocacy at hearings involving financial matters, children disputes and domestic violence issues.
Laura is passionate about ensuring that clients feel that they have been listened to throughout the process and in working to achieve the best outcome for them, strives to provide clear and pragmatic advice.
Laura believes that it is important for her clients to have confidence in the advice that she gives and she is therefore a member of Resolution. Her aim is to resolve a client’s case as amicably as possible, especially where children are involved, as she recognises that the impact and outcome of a divorce, separation or Children Act order will continue long after her involvement has ended.
