Emily is a solicitor in the family department, based in the firm’s Harpenden office.

Emily has experience in a wide range of family matters. She specialises in providing advice and assistance on the issues that can arise following the breakdown of a marriage, civil partnership or cohabitation. Emily can also provide advice on the proactive steps that can be taken prior to marriage or cohabitation in order to protect assets.

Emily was named in the 2018/2019 Legal 500 review and was recommended for cases involving children. She advises on private law children matters including disputes about living and contact arrangements.

During her training, and post qualification, Emily has had exposure to financial matters involving a broad asset base.

Emily understands that family disputes can be traumatic and emotive for all involved. Emily therefore aims to provide clear, logical advice that will assist her clients to reach the best possible outcome.

Emily is a member of Resolution. Resolution members are committed to resolving family disputes in a constructive and non-confrontational manner.

Emily undertook her training at an international law firm in Cambridge and qualified as a solicitor in July 2016.
