About

I am a fourth seat trainee solicitor, having completed my first three seats in our Residential Conveyancing, Commercial Property and Family Departments.

I have acted with supervision for clients on a range of matters helping them to achieve complex goals in challenging circumstances.

Interests

I enjoy watching and playing a wide variety of sports, particularly tennis and cricket. I love going to watch the Pakistan cricket team when he can. I also enjoy exploring parks and outdoor areas, particularly Verulamium Park which he has visited on a number of occasions including for its Bonfire night display. I spend time with my family when I can, particularly my two young nephews.

Experience

On one matter, I assisted a client in achieving the first registration of their property after they had lost the title deeds. I had to build a picture of ownership using any documents the client could provide – some of which were several decades old (a bit like piecing together a jigsaw!), and even contacted a library who held a deed from many years back which was able to assist with the application. I then also successfully expedited the submission, and this all ultimately resulted in a successful first registration for the client, which they were really pleased to see.

In another highlight, I ran a lease transaction for one of the firm’s foremost landlord clients from start to finish. This involved drafting the lease with bespoke clauses (e.g. for dilapidations), together with drafting the 1954 Act documents. I completed the transaction in a tight timeframe, which the client was grateful for.
