About

I head the Harpenden Residential Conveyancing office and lead a dedicated team of people, who aim to give a high quality service to all clients.  I endeavour to look at pragmatic ways of applying the law and conveyancing process to transactions, in order to get the best possible outcome for clients and introducers.

I have a keen interest in utilising technology to assist with process and support the Department and Firm with a number of elements, including risk, training and IT development.

I look to provide a niche conveyancing service which allows me to focus on trying to deliver a one client, one solicitor philosophy.  I look to assist with local estate agents and endeavour to be available to clients, not just through electronic means of communication but also in person, this allows me to demonstrate a very much tailored service to clients.

I have a wide range of conveyancing knowledge and am currently the longest serving Conveyancing Partner in the Firm and have been able to share my experience with staff allowing them to foster unique client service levels.

I look for solutions in difficult periods, when matters become complicated and seek a collaborative way through a sometimes difficult conveyancing transaction with local solicitor colleagues.

I have knowledge in right-to-buy matters, prescriptive rights, adverse possession and provide support for some of the more unusual conveyancing transactions that arrive.

I qualified with Taylor Walton, 20 years’ ago and have moved through the ranks, heading the Residential Conveyancing Department whilst rising through the ranks of Salaried and Equity Partner.

Interests

Outside of work, I enjoy horse racing, rugby, travel and trying where I can to spend time with my family
