Recent work

Will Mercer is a Partner in the Family Department and works as a member of the team in the firm’s St Albans office.

Will was initially educated at St Albans School and went on to study Law at the University of Sheffield. Following his graduation in 2007, Will returned to St Albans and completed his Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London. Will joined Taylor Walton as a trainee in September 2009 after enjoying a successful placement on the firm’s summer internship programme and subsequently joined the Family Department as a solicitor on his qualification in September 2011.

Will advises clients on all aspects of Family Law including divorce and dissolution of civil partnerships, financial arrangements on the breakdown of relationships, children matters, cohabitation issues and pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements.


In his spare time Will enjoys playing and watching sport and is a regular member of the firm’s football team.
