Partnership, Director & Shareholder Disputes

Being in business with others requires patience, trust and compromise with a view to achieving a common goal.

When it works, the sum of the business is greater than its constituent parts.  When it doesn’t, it can be highly stressful and acrimonious for all concerned.  Inevitably that situation will have a negative and very damaging effect on the business itself.

Whether you are a partner, a shareholder or a director of a limited liability company we provide advice on a range of intra-business dispute matters including:

  • Interpretation and implications of Partnership Agreements and Shareholder Agreements
  • Partnership Disputes
  • Shareholder Disputes
  • Unfair Prejudice Petitions
  • Derivative Actions
  • Director’s Duties

We understand that pragmatism, flexibility and a commercial approach are essential in these business-critical situations. Should you choose to work with us, we will discuss your objectives, and prepare and prosecute a strategy that helps you to achieve your goals, be that through alternative forms of dispute resolution or Court proceedings.
